I was having conflicts about my writing, mostly about how to approach my writing and that was due to my awareness of the reality and the things I wanted to write. After much introspection and deliberation the conflicts finally got resolved and as much as my mental faculties allow, I can now pursue my writing. It was not an easy task arriving at the resolution because the conflicts are such and no one in past or current literature or pop culture actually has dealt with it in a way (if they have dealt with it at all) that would be able to guide me or help me regarding my approach and it was a relief that I could finally resolve the issues. I would not be discussing all of it but I can discuss a part of it. How to negotiate aesthetics with science was one of the conflicts. How to, while writing, not think about the moon as a barren satellite of earth that reflects the light of the sun, but think about it as something that illuminates the night sky making streams and water bodies shimmer and gleam. There were few more conflicts about the truth of the world and negotiating the reality of the present world with the genres that I want to write in. It took a lot of introspection and I finally arrived at my conclusions that have eased my writer’s block a little bit and from here I can build on to strengthen the approach I have discovered by writing more and more. It was an epiphany and suddenly I was able to deal with and write all the genres I was finding myself difficult to deal with and write.
